Two in one: melt some crayons and your stress

As the stress of a new school year quickly approaches, a good art project can help. Anything rainbow is trendy now so why not make some rainbow art?

Now before you prejudge this project as childish or unsophisticated, you have to think about the outcome of the project. It’s easy to do and will not only provide stress relief, but will also serve as beautiful wall art.

Crayon art is the way to go. For this project, you do not need to be skilled!

Materials: 1 firm board (any size), a box of crayons, a hot glue gun, and a hair dryer.

Instructions:

1. You will need to organize your crayons into a rainbow.

2. Take the crayons and using the hot glue gun, paste all the crayons onto the board in a straight line. (You can keep the individual wrappers on the crayons if you’d like

3. Next, place your board right up against a wall and grab your hair dryer.

4. The hair dryer should be set to the highest setting. Blow the Hair dryer directly on top of the crayons so that the wax blows vertically down the board and not horizontally.

5. After about 5 minutes of dry-time your art piece is done and ready.

6.Let the compliments roll in.
