8:39 p.m. They had to fly out a choir from Staten Island? Seriously, why not Shalhevet Highschool Choir? B’shana Habaah!

8:36 p.m. Ladies and Gentlemen, The Winner of 2011’s Best Picture is… Drum roll please… “The King’s Speech” It’s the Brittish film, of course!

8:32 p.m. The battle for best picture of 2011… Will the winner be the film about the stuttering king or the king of all media?

8:31 p.m. How many dresses does Anne own?

8:25 p.m. Colin Firth wins an Oscar for Best Actor for his role in “The King’s Speech”!

8:22 p.m. Come on.. Jesse Eisenberg!!

7:00 p.m.  I’m glad to see President Obama had the time to weigh in on his opinion for his Favorite Original Song from a movie.

6:58 p.m. The Oscar for Best Costume Design goes to “Alice in Wonderland”. Yawn, Boring speech. Come on Orchestra, start the music.

6:56 p.m. The Oscar for Best Makeup goes to Rick Baker and Dave Elsey for “The Wolfman” .

6:55 p.m. James Franco insults technical “nerds”

6:54 p.m. James Franco, what’s up with you face? Do you have sun in you eyes?

6:49 p.m. Inception wins yet another award for their achievement in Sound Editing.

6:47 p.m. The Oscar for Best Sound Mixing goes to Inception. What a confusing movie!

6:46 p.m. Matthew Mcconaughey lay off on the spray tanning!

6:28 p.m. The Oscar for Best Foreign Film goes to “In a Better World” from Denmark. Shucks, I was waiting for The Canadian film to win.

6:24 p.m. James Franco comes out dressed in Drag while Anne Hathoway giggles at him.

6:17 p.m.  The Oscar for Original Screen Play goes to David Seidler for “The King’s Speech”.

6:14 p.m.  The battle for best Adapted Screen Play has ended with Aaron Sorkin winning for “The Social Network”

6:08 p.m. Will Natalie Portman plie’ away with an Oscar for Best Actress? Stay Tuned.

6:06 p.m.  Toy Story 3 wins Best Animated Feature Film

6:04 p.m. The Oscar for Best Animated Short goes to “The Lost Thing” by Shaun Tan and Andrew Ruhemann.

6:01 p.m. Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis present Nominees Best Animated Short in a very awkward manner.

5:58 p.m.  Melissa seems more surprised by presenter, Kirk Douglas  than she is by her win.  Did she just offer a profanity? Yes she sure did! Her acceptance speech was very heartfelt.

5:57 p.m. And the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress goes to Melissa Leo for her performance in “The Fighter”. She looks so much better in real life than she does in the film. Kirk Douglas agrees with me!

5:51 p.m. Veteran Actor Kirk Douglas, father of Mike Douglas receives standing ovation from audience.

5:47 p.m. Oscar goes to Inception for Cinematography.

5:44 p.m. First Oscar for Art Direction goes to  “Alice in Wonderland”

5:40 p.m. Oscar co-host Anne Hathaway gets embarrassed by her mother while James Franco honors his grandmother. Nachas!
