Zev Kupferman, Director of Production and Design
Zev has been the main graphic designer for the Boiling Point since the first issue of his freshman year. He started with a big bang: contributing to the double-truck design about the presidential election of 2016, which won national 4th place for center-spread designs in the NSPA’s 2017 Design of the Year competition. Since then he has created many memorable layouts, including a map of Shalhevet commuters in 10th grade and last year’s food habits fridge, gun ownership infographic and the centerspread of the Glouberman Special Section. As Director of Production and Design, Zev now is responsible for all visuals in the paper, overseeing layout, photography, infographics and hand-drawn design. In his free time, he is passionate about advocating for Israel and likes to hang out with friends — and do more graphic design.
