12 students win 14 awards at Penn Model Congress

Shalhevet’s 25-member debate team has won 14 awards at the Penn Model Congress tournament, which ended this afternoon in Philadelphia.

Senior Jenny Newman and junior David Rokah won two awards each.

Gavel winners were Jenny in Supreme Court, Daniel Aronowitz in committee; Justin Brandt-Sarif  in Supreme Court;  and Michael Suriel in committee.

The other awards were Honorable Mentions.
