SUKKOT BREAK!!!
What a relief!
Junior year has been so tough with all the AP’s, honors classes, high-level CAJS Judaic classes, and SAT classes — but now let’s talk about break.
On break all teenagers act the same way. First we say let’s just take a day to sleep and get re-energized before we start studying our AP subjects and working on our essays and projects that are due when we get back to school. Then the second day of break comes and we think to ourselves again: one more day of rest would do no harm.
Then a few days later when we are only a day away from school starting, it hits us: we haven’t finished any of our homework and we aren’t ready for any of our tests. Then we stay up real late trying to finish those essays and cram as much as we can, and when we finally go to sleep, we only have four hours until we must wake up and sluggishly go to school.
BUT NOT THIS TIME!
This break I have decided to plan ahead and start my homework early. I am proud to say that it is Oct. 17 and I have already started my homework. It was hard, I did procrastinate the first couple days of break. But now I am really trying to finish everything before Sunday night so I don’t have a panic attack and spend all my lunch and breakfast trying to complete work that is just barely passable.
I invite and recommend all of you juniors to join me and start your homework before Sunday night! There’s still time!
