VIDEO: Football Firehawks crush New Jew 35 – 0, remain undefeated

Improving to an unblemished 5-0 record in the Coastal League, the Firehawks Boys Flag Football team defeated New Community Jewish High School yesterday on the home field at LACES.
Quarterback Jacob Dauer amassed five total touchdowns — one rushing and four with aerial strikes, two to tight end Jeremy Glouberman and two to Max Helfand.On defense, Sammy Ellenhorn, Elon Glouberman, and Seffi Arnan intercepted New Jew while sack master Boaz Willis took down the quarterback.
The biggest play of the game on defense came when the Jaguars had 1st and Goal to go inside the five-yard line, the Firehawks leading 7-0. Tenacious defense from the Firehawks led to a four-play goal line stand.
The Firehawks’ next match up is on the road against AGBU on Tuesday. Shalhevet defeated AGBU 19-6 last week.
