The letter below was sent out by Acting General Studies Principal Roy Danovitch Friday to parents of 11th and 12th grade students. 

This letter is to inform you that Mr. Larry Mullin will not be returning to Shalhevet, effective today. Mr. Mullin taught AP US History and AP Government/Economics. Dr. Beerman, currently our esteemed Just Community scholar and faculty advisor, will be assuming teaching duties for Mr. Mullin’s two courses.

As many of you may know, Dr. Beerman is a US History and Government Scholar, and a devoted advocate of our school. She has also recovered incredibly well from a surgery that impaired her health last year. Together with History Department Chair Dr. Michael Yoss, we have worked diligently on making the transition to Dr. Beerman as smooth as possible.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Dr. Yoss, or myself. We wish Mr. Mullin the very best, and thank him for his service to the school over the last three years.
