Both Errol Briggs and his job title are new additions to the Shalhevet family. The Controller, a newly created position in the school, manages the expenses and revenue for the high school and ensures that all tuitions are collected.
“I just [make sure] the bills are paid and that our financials reports are timely and accurate,” Mr. Briggs said in an interview. .
Mr. Briggs was previously business manager at Delores Mission Catholic High School in Los Angeles. He discovered Shalhevet after responding to an ad placed online and was recruited by the new Executive Director, Robyn Lewis.
He logged onto Shalhevet’s website, and liked what he read.
“I went on the website…I loved everything that I saw,” Mr. Briggs said. “Just the curriculum and the staff, both administration and teaching staff and the location.”
Outside of school, his favorite thing to do is jogging.
“I jog four to five miles seven days a week and that’s how I relax, by jogging,” Mr. Briggs said.
