Some people have to discover their interests; others have no choice but to follow them. Jacob Joseph Lefkowitz Brooks has been a member of the Boiling Point staff since the first semester of his freshman year. He soon found a love for journalism and became the paper’s Arts & Culture editor the next semester, moving on to Features editor in his sophomore year. As a junior, Jacob is now the Community Editor and a member of the BP's Editorial Board. Jacob is an avid moviegoer as well as a diehard fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and Raptors.
Nicholas Fields has been a member of the Boiling Point since freshman year. Starting off with a story about freshman orientation, he quickly fell in love with journalism. After serving as a staff writer for over a year, Nicholas became the Arts and Culture editor in his second semester as a sophomore and is now Torah editor. Outside of Boiling Point, Nicholas is a co-founder of the astronomy club, a member of the Etta youth board and a member of the Shalhevet Model Congress team.
After serving as a staff writer throughout her freshman year, Molly Litvak is 2018-19’s Outside News editor and has written for the Boiling Point's Community, Torah, Sports and Outside News sections so far. Molly enjoys journalism and has written for multiple publications. Outside of Boiling Point, Molly participates in Model Congress and enjoys volunteering at Friendship Circle. In her free time, she likes reading, writing, debating and hanging out with friends.
Tobey Lee joined Boiling Point his freshman year, writing award-winning stories about the boys basketball team and delving into the intricacies of the California Interscholastic Federation. From there, he became Sports Editor as a sophomore and he is now the editor of the Features section. Aside from BP, Tobey enjoys singing bass in the choir, hanging out with friends and spending time with his family.
