Sami Brous-Light: Bonding over an accident

    When I was in Hawaii on a trip with my family, I would say I was around maybe 8 or 10,, my sister and I were like kicking each other under the table, and I looked under the table and I lost balance, and the chair fell over and I hit my cheek on the ground really hard, and I bit my cheek and then it started gushing bleeding. We literally messed up every single dish towel and paper towel that was in the house and all the toilet paper, just stuffing my mouth to stop the bleeding so I wouldn’t have to go to the hospital. 

     At first my sister was laughing at me and was like “Get up,” and after she realized I was really hurt she helped me and got me the towels. She tried to do everything that she could to help me. and made me realize how much she actually cared about me. When we went on this trip, I wasn’t the closest to my sister. We used to fight a lot, but from then on, we got a lot closer and our friendship only grew from there.
