Ezra Rosenthal: One Arm, Three Breaks
“I broke my arm three times. Two different times I just never realized. So the first time I broke it was when I came home to my mom saying that I had arm pain. The second time I broke it was when I was playing baseball. The third time was, we were playing basketball, and my friend shoots a basketball. I don’t know what happened, but I fall back, use my arm as support, hear a snap, fall to the ground. My head’s fine, but then I immediately feel pain in my wrist. My arm had completely broken. I could not play baseball for two years, which is really why I’ve never gotten back into it since then. I just found a way to make up for it and pushed it out of my mind so that I could focus on the things I still wanted to do. Overall, after these three experiences, I really think that I’ve been able to push past and get through it, and just keeping that mentality to push and push and not let this affect you.”
