Eight new faces (so far) leading classes, counseling and special projects this year
Shalhevet lost teachers in English, math, Judaic Studies and school activities over the summer, and their replacements have arrived on campus with a wide range of backgrounds, interests and skills.
A new college counselor is the first in her family to have gone to college herself, a projects assistant is a former pastry chef and a new Hebrew teacher is an expert on contemporary art who has collaborated with museums and galleries in Israel.
They’ll soon be joined by two new science teachers and a new head of Student Support, replacing staff who left in August and October, and a new Judaic Studies fellow who’ll visit regularly from Yeshiva University in New York. Click on the pictures below to get to know who’s here so far.
